32 Roadster Home made louvers and rollin days with pictures

    Hello

    Decided to make louvers myself on my 32, unfortunately no press louvers around here...
    So I was thinkin of an easy way... to do it...

    Looks good!

    So how did you do the louvers?

    Cut first and then hit them with the tool?

    What do you do on the backside of the hood?

    Yes I did cut first, then reverse the hood and hammer the louvers one by one, the hood was on the grass in my garden when punching it

    Took me 2 hours from tracing to paint in black...why?

    Very cool. your louvers have a nice soft look to them.
    Sometimes depending on the dies used, I can't help but think "gym locker" when I see a hood or trunk punched full of sharp Chrisp louvers.

  19. man yaw over the pond guys are building some nice cars. I've done a lot of hammer off grass work but never hammer on grass.
