I need some help with the connections to my carb. If anyone has some pictures of a connected one, that'd be great. I know there's a few fuel lines but isn't there also some smaller lines to attach?

    Any help is much appreciated!

Well, didn't find much with that. For some reason, olds owners just don't photograph stuff!

Ok, this might be easier than I thought.

There's three things to be connected, the front fuel line that goes into the float chamber, the big fuel line in the rear, and a smaller vac*** line.

I still have no idea where the vac*** line goes.

There should only be one fuel line. It's hard to tell with out pics but I suspect your "big fuel line in the rear" is for your PCV. Small vacuum line probably goes to the vacuum advance on your distributor. Post up some pics and it will be easier to help you.

There is a line from the fuel pump to a fitting in the rear of the carb witch I would beleve to be the vacuume pump side of the fuel pump. The dist hooks to a port on the p*** side of the card say half way up the float bowl between the bowl and the throttle body.

small br*** ****** is for the vacuum to the dist. Looks like you have a kink in your gas line. You should fix that so that you get a good supply of gas all the time. Watch that old 2GC carb as the needle seat may be stuck if it has been setting for a long time. When you start that make sure that the gas is not flowing out of it becasue of a stuck seat.

I'm guessing that a '60 Olds doesn't have a pcv but rather a road draft system.
The large ****** in back maybe goes to the power brake booster:confused:

    Also: what rustynewyorker said:D

I don't know where I'd find the "power brake booster"

I've tried to get the manuals, but it's a lot easier said then done, especially when you're 17 and don't have a credit card.

power brake booster is the round metal thing on the firewall that the master cylinder bolts to, just to the right and below the wiper motor, a big vacuum line goes to this from the back of the carb base

Sorry Charlie, I have the factory 1960 Olds service manual, and no detailed pics of carb on engine. Comprehensive rebuild and specification section, but no pics, other than carb on a mounting bracket.

    I don't think so...

Brake lines > circle roundy thing.

Well, she's all connected, but now I have to take the fuel tank apart again :/

When I cleaned it the first time, there was, what I can only call a filter, on the end of the inlet inside the tank. I couldn't buy a replacement, so I left it off and put an extra in-line filter.
I forgot, however, that the extra length on the inlet given by the "filter" was gone too, which means that I can only use about the last 1/3 of the tank.
