I came across this coupe the other day and have been looking for more information on it. Anyone have any leads like a name of the car, or a builder or anything to help my search? Thanks I found these 2 different pics of the same car. Notice the front suspension and the tire package was different. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I've seen this car talked about here on the HAMB sometime in the last 13+ years..... Someone will remember ..... Glenn

I believe you are correct! http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=****+patterson+model+a&qpvt=****+patterson+model+a&FORM=IGRE Lots of good info here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58956 And some words from **** himself, right here on the HAMB http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-282011.html
In my little town in the 65-68 era, there were 2 coupes built with T radiators. It must have been a magazine spin off trend, copied from the T bucket kits. One of these was a 32 Pontiac, the other was a 33 chevy 3w. The Pontiac was pictured here on hamb in the last year with old pics, and then recently found/re-bought by the orig builder. And only the wheels had been changed in 45 years.
I just found the original HAMB thread on this car. Thanks for the leads. I'm still curious about the front suspension though. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
The first set-up looks similar to the Ala Kart suspension which I believe used springs and bags from a '58 Chevy? The second set-up (although tough to see in a little pic) appears to be a "suicide" sprung tube axle with lever shocks mounted horizontally instead of the more typical longitudinal mounting... Of course I've been very wrong in the past! -Dave
That's easy! November '64 Car Craft, one of my favorite mags ever! The blue version was in the later sixties. I have it in a magazine somewhere around the house. If I see it I'll scan and post it.
You guys rock! It appears there isn't many pictures of the coil spring set up. I really dig this car though. Thanks for all the help. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
