Doing a project where I'd like to find a pretty small heater core, like 4x4 or maybe 5x5 or so inches, depth not as much of a concern. I've looked up a ton of them on feebay and such, and tried to find a chart to no avail. Anyone know of a chart somewhere that I can find what sizes are in what car, or even know what car might have one about the size listed?

I guess its kinda like gas tanks...so many variations! Be nice if a manufacturer had some generic versions available as they do with general purpose fuel tanks, but I guess the demand just isn't there.
You know, a small transmission cooler with a 12V computer muffin fan behind it would make a decent heater...... You'd have to make a housing for it, unless it's hidden up under the dash.
Thanks guys. I'll have to measure out exactly how big I can fit and do some digging on your links. Trans cooler might work as well, though needing a 5/8 input/outlet fitting. Not for a heat project, but once it's done I'll be putting up some details on what it is.
JC Whitney used to list heater cores by size, haven't looked at their book for years though. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I couldn't find a core to fit this heater the way I wanted so I made my own out of copper tube and aluminum flashing. Works pretty good, too. Blue
