Great looking car!!! I recall when i was in the Air Force in 1980 there was a couple Sgts that were Electronics instructors in the tech school I attended at Lackland AFB that both had Chevys g***er style....one a 55 and the other a 56. They drove them almost daily to work. I dont recall their names but i beleive they were from Vermillion Illinois area.....long shot but anyone might have an idea who they are? or know of their cars?
an acquaintance of mine supplied me with some photos of when this car used to race at Thunder Valley Dragways in Marion, SD and from a Sioux Falls, SD car show in 1971...
Just my opinion but some polished copper in the dash would bring the outside of the car in. Tie it together so to speak. That's just nitpicking though. Great looking car.
WOW _a friend of one of my brothers owned-raced that car. "John Holland" -no longer with us. It broke 57 Olds axles easily. I rode in it when they put a mild engine in it, 70-72. Heard once it was still in Sioux Falls, would be nice to see it again.
