Customs Got the biggest score of my life today.

Well today I am the happiest teenager to live. As i was on my way home from football, I stopped at a rummage (only because i seen tools ), and noticed a set of spotlights as i walked over they looked like appleton 112's the closer i got. The minute i seen where it said that by the trim ring i bought them. I had him hold them while i run home and get cash.
The killer of the story is that i paid $150 for them. thats why Im even happier.

(Condition) Fair-thy need to be rechromed. one has a ding in it. the other is straight.
I hope u guys dont envy me for this Will post pics tomorrow.

Our youngest kid turned 24 this month and he's played with real cars since he was 1 1/2! Of course our older kids would rather drive a Kia.

Thanks guys I put them on my 1940 chevy sedan (mid 40's to early 50's) kustom last night at my "shop" (actually my grandparents garage where i keep all my toys.) I will be going down there later today and ill ****** them pics.

I put them on last night, but they will need to be taken apart and sent to the chromer with my garnish moldings bumpers and dash parts.

 

Be careful when having them rechromed if you care about the stamped logo on them as it can be filled during the rechroming process if the chromer is not careful or good.

 

Maybe try polishing them up first if they're not that bad? I've seen some realy ****py looking chrome polish up real nice.

Ok guyz i used some FLITZ on them the one looks ok but not like the rest of the chrome on the car. The other is pretty bad when i upload the pics then you will know why. But i might run just one Not sure yet.

Nice! I love finding car stuff at yard sales, estate sales, and things like that. There's almost never anything good as far as car stuff goes, but that 1 time you find it, it's priced right!

My plans are for a mid 40's to early 50s custom. Mild custom I posted a pic of Jebos sedan. That car has the stance i want.
