American Austin and American Bantam cars or Austin Bantams and Bantam Austin, as these micro sized cars are often incorrectly referred to, were produced in Butler, Pennsylvania, United States of America. The American Austins from 1930-1934 by the American Austin Car Company, and the American Bantams from 1938-1940 by the Bantam Car Company, successor to the American Austin Car Company. A two door sedan/five window coupe, roadster, panel truck, pickup truck, and a business coupe were manufactured by both companies
It's a 3 window coupe. There is actually a 3W body forsale in the cl***ifieds. I think it's Pinstripers? They are supposedly very rare in the 3w form.
the three window bantam is actualy a salesmans coupe. it also came from the factory without a p***enger front seat.
Thanks 'hotroddon', everybody gets their name wrong.. I've owned 3 Bantams and 1 Austin and they have an 80" wheelbase, same as a golf cart...
