Looking good! If you head to the drags you should give me a hollar and swing by the new place :)

Haha, I've got a decent sized garage a driveway that will hold at least 6 and enough bedrooms for the partridge family. I suppose I should mow the lawn and rip weeds out of the driveway but then I'll feel prepared.

I've been meaning to load these up as well... I have seats now and they couldn't have turned out any better, so I'm extremely thankful. My good friend Joe (lowtruck) did an outstanding job on all of the upholstery work.

They are '32 sedan seats which I wanted for the accessibility and overall design rather than a solid bench. So we came up with a pattern and upholstery which seemed to be the right fit for the era the car is going. Again I'm pretty excited to get in and try em out....

Construction/ Modification for new seat back....

Powdercoating will not fill in pits! At least it didn't on my model A wheels!

Yeah, I had the same experience with my wires unfortunately. Maybe if the pits aren't too severe I could see some filling. I think its a good approach though if you were fortunate enough to have a nice clean frame.

I think I'm leaning towards the Hirsch "super" chassis black - brush on approach....

    Semi.

I'm planning on all suspension, frame, engine and rear to be painted with semi gloss black. Then leave the transmission the color it is (original ford red) and do the body somewhere in the range of an early 40's maroon (eventually).

You can have them go really thick and as long as we're not talking about ladybug size pits it should fill a lot of them pretty good. You can also use things like All Metal and such to fill the larger ones.

Now that I'm thinking about it...would you recommend gloss over semi for the frame? I would think it might hold up better in the long run.

Thanks Pete. They did turn out really well and to top it off they are pretty comfortable, seeing as there is only about 2" of padding to them.

Gloss will be easier to keep clean because its smoother! I just think it looks more finished too. Your T is gonna look awesome, I personally think the gloss frame will complete the look better.

Agreed. Talked it over this weekend and I think ill hold out for spraying it and the suspension as opposed to brushing it on as well.

Looks like ill be investing in some high build primer and filler afterall.

High build primer? Try some Slick Sand made by Evercoat. #709 for grey. The stuff is amazing. Like spray on bondo.

Well...Jeffrey I think I'm going to go the powder coat route. I've worked the metal up to a good point where I can finish the rest of it pretty well with all-metal and have it all powder coated. Seems to be a good idea, as it'll be less hastle and more permanent and hopefully last a bit longer.

I did get around to working on the clutch/pedal assembly this weekend. I ended up like everyone else having to modify that x-member but I think it should hold up pretty well. On top of that I had to flip the pedals which should allow for enough clearance now without losing any mechanical advantage from their initial design.

Lastly I received my carbs form UncleMax here on the hamb and boy did they turn out well. Can't explain how well these came out. Thanks again Max.

Well... in 8 days I'll be getting married so before that and for a little while I wanted to post where the motor progress is and share a little eye candy as well.

All of the parts are sitting in my garage awaiting my return from the Honey Moon for assembly. In the mean time I had to do a mock up since it will be a little while before I can get back around to it.

Sooner than later this little guy will hopefully be idling with any luck.

    Wish me luck.

Love that intake man, J's got one on his coupe as well and it always catches my eye.

Sorry I can't be there for the huge day but I'll be thinking about you two. Have an amazing day man.
