Vintage shots from days gone by!

I want one!

 

These appear to have four-bladed propellers which would make Korean War era Corsairs. Three-bladed props were used in WW II according to what I have read.

 

SouthUrn, all your pictures are great, but this one sped my old ticker up the most. Is that Jane Mansfield?

Sorry---Internet won't let me upload----Anyway, 1942 pix shows 4 blades on the F4U-1.

 

Limiting your photo pixel sizes to 2000 pixels or less in BOTH directions will help the photos load.

very cool. my grandfather sold Studebakers on forest ave. in Portland maine in the 1950s. the building is still there with the stone Studebaker sign built into the bricks at the top.
