Well Keith, I'm not sure if it was good, but it was nice to be awake after dark on a Saturday for once!!
Well burned up the tranny in the Belvedere, That is why I didn't show. After that I did not feel like talking cars. Looks like the vette for a while
LoL well that brought a smile to my face, Thanks guys. Damn Mopars. OOHH well, I will get it going somehow just one of those set backs. Anyway have a good week guys.
Yes I was pissed cause it was finally running so good, don't know exactly what happened but maybe next week or the week after ( tranny shop ). OOHH well I was close, maybe next time I will make it. The one runs was so nice too. life in the big city. Hope you all are having a good week looking forward to Saturday.
Naw, stock kick down geometry with an after market carb with a Chevy type arm... Willing to put money on it.
Was a Mopar adapter that Holley sells for Mopar kick down. What I am hearing from a couple tranny shops is there is a pressure by pass, they think that might be the problem or the pump went out. The fluid is still red and it didn't go out slowly ( slipping ) it just quit moving forward and backward. Now does anybody have any good feedback on automatic transmission experts on 7th ave, I have heard good and would like to know more. Is the U bracket the one you are talking about Chip.
I don't know what the problem could be, but we use Denny's down on south Central for our slush-box needs. Everything from my truck, Dave's new Dodge, and even the Super Stock car. John Craft had an AOD I sold him done over there too.
Wew freeze plug is in, header tomorrow and Tranny shop Thursday hopefully. Dun no something like that, just want it going for the next big cruise. Hows your project going Nick, we both going to make the big cruise as the ma din cruise? LoL. Chip thanks for the advise, I took it and as soon as it got cool hit that freeze plug with a passion. You all have a good evening, tomorrow is Saturday night right on.
Any Mopar guys that could use this? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=803858 Should have the correct linkage.
Looks like Oct 12 according to the Cruisin' Arizona site, also shows Snake and Mongoose opening at Harkins Tempe Sept. 20.
I may not make it saturday night. Pontiac club night at the pavillions & then dinner at Sizzler!!! YUM!!!
Nah, I'm fine. Remember when Judy's Honda got nailed by a drunk in April? Ya, well the same thing only no diplomatic immunity... still hit and run and destroyed though. Fortunately, I'm a pretty good gumshoe and found the humble remains of the P.T. cruiser that hit it exactly where I thought I would... The underground parking at the Regency House!
As you guys get to know me better you'll realize two things about me. First, I have the worst possible luck in the world, and I'll probably be killed someday by a grand piano falling from the sky. Second, P.T. Cruisers hate me too! It must have been the frequent thrashing they received as rental cars from me back in the corporate days...
Tom Horne drives a PT Cruiser? Shame that happened, hope you can salvage a bunch and come out good. Maybe this is a start:http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/4057605839.html
