I have a ford 400 big block that will run totally fine. then you turn it off and it doesn't start. gas is getting to it and the battery is good. any idea's on how to fix this?

Is it spinning over & not starting? Check for ignition with a timing light?

what ignition do you have? points or electronic? I've had similar problems and could be distributor, coil or ignition box. Bad connections. Bad resistor wire to coil acting up.
