Features Show a year of progress

After years of collecting parts and working on the engine, tore her apart in April, had the quick change put in and frame checked out. Here she is mocked up to check stance. Now I'm taking her all apart for the final build. FINALLY!

^That's the coupe N Ozols drew on this week's FAS. Wow!

My car =Snail pace. No bucks, borrowed garage. But there's light at the end of the tunnel re. workspace.
12 months on at least it's out of the field. Lotsa little body/ int stuff refurbished. Next is bodywork. I've been saying that for months. Slow.

My Bonneville truck does't look too much different than it did when found sitting in the desert in 2012. But it is running and driving again. It has a new gas tank, new brakes, some new gages.

Just a month shy of a year. It started out as just a paint job..... couldn't just stop at that. The body had to come off to do it right.











Still have a bit to do. I'll post the 'finished' pictures when it gets that far.

 

Leave it to Dad to get something done that the rest of us (well, me anyway) only dream of.

 

Tantank49 that's how a lot of us start out , just going to freshen up the paint then voila , its in hundreds of pieces . Looks good though !!
