Another site I'm on International Automotive Technician's Network (IATN) requires those peolple not financially supporting the site to help others on the site.
I know many HAMB members help out each other now...
However, a new member could start out ( after intro) with a request like " my car overheats" or " what is this part" but would be required to help someone else on the site in order to maintain their ability to post a new request or thread.
It might force some of the more un-technical folks here to learn something because they would be forced to post a response to other folk's automotive problems.
In order to make a intelligent response they would be forced to read related posts or google something.
If you upgrade to an Alliance Member you can **** and pillage as you wish.
I'm a long time tech but I learn something new here everyday.
    Thanks, Don
