Who made aluminum split wishbone mounts like these and is anyone re-popping them?

I have a pair laying around that came off an old 29 roadster drag car from the early 60's. I dont know if they were on there originally so take it at face value. I personally dont like the look of them

Yep, PSI. I had a set on my first rpu in the late 60's. I think they were something like $20 a pair back then.

PSI made some very cool stuff. I had a set of their rear split bones on the back of my 23, and they were a nice piece. I also used some of their front end stuff when I built my 27 years ago, like their front hairpin mounts. Those are still on the car. They were still in business at that time because I remember calling them directly and ordering them.

    Wish they still were around.

Funny thing, they are still kinda around! Not sure if they still make that particular part or not, but they are called Antique Auto Parts these days, and Jim is the guy to talk to. they only do business by phone, and that is 626 288 3131. They are really heavily biased to 4 banger stuff these days, but are still at L.A.R.S. every year and still drag out some hot rod stuff.

Oh, that is good to hear, they were very nice to deal with when I called them years ago.

They are kinda quirky to deal with, they don't take credit cards. You have to send a mail order or wait for your check to clear for a week or two before shipping.
