streetrod class

    well, I don't think $1,250 was a bargin set of American Racing wheels and bf Goodrich tires. now that I do have them on the car, and look at it they do give the streetrod version. so i'm looking at a pair of '40's steelies with trim rings. as for the the suspension I have new Posie super slide on the car, front and rear and i'm not about to change them.

    the word street rod was used in the 1950s. it was for a street legal hot rod. henry felson even had a book called street rod.

    so I just bought these four, 1940's ford 16" i'll paint them black. I think these will give me the traditional hotrod look. what do you guys think?

    Yes, now you're cooking. Looks like the centers were clearanced?

    yes Ryan, bias. there 29 1/2" tall and should hide a lot of the height of the wheel well.

    I think the consesus is correct " whee;s and tires " and I like the Crome wheels with skinny whites idea just to be a little different.

    Won't have to worry about that, if you take the fenders off.;)
