I'm too cheep to buy a speedway model T lower frame and I also have a windshield frame that I can modify so I decided to build my own. I was wondering if anybody has the dimensions for a 27 roadster lower frame. I made a drawing with the dimensions I need. if anybody has one laying around could you give me the dimensions shown on the drawing.
Here ya go, measured off an original 26-27 frame; Edited to add: Windshield pivot position is 8 1/4" from lowermost part of the frame.
now that is some info, I think I need to put this information into my AutoCAD so I have a perfect model. that way I have it on file for later use or for others to use. Thanks for the information
That's good stuff! Thanks! Combine this with the other tech on making a windshield frame and you're set.
I have never posted on the CAD thread how would you post a file. I just made a dxf file for the windshield but want to know how too post. here is a image of the gl*** cut file.
Here's the CAD thread. I think you use the paperclip icon next to the smiley face to attach files. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98330
