Technical 1927 roadster winshield frame dimensions

    I'm too cheep to buy a speedway model T lower frame and I also have a windshield frame that I can modify so I decided to build my own. I was wondering if anybody has the dimensions for a 27 roadster lower frame. I made a drawing with the dimensions I need. if anybody has one laying around could you give me the dimensions shown on the drawing.

    Here ya go, measured off an original 26-27 frame;

    Edited to add: Windshield pivot position is 8 1/4" from lowermost part of the frame.

    now that is some info, I think I need to put this information into my AutoCAD so I have a perfect model. that way I have it on file for later use or for others to use. Thanks for the information
     
  7. Good idea, post it on the CAD thread. Would be handy to print and have a gl*** shop pattern.

    Combine this with the other tech on making a windshield frame and you're set.

    I have never posted on the CAD thread how would you post a file. I just made a dxf file for the windshield but want to know how too post. here is a image of the gl*** cut file.
