    Its Tuesday.... ???? & ??!!! haha

  2. Haha. You guys are funny!

I tried to do all the things on my list yesterday but constantly was interrupted by something.

Back story. I had a buddy that was at the 1st annual Rog and was blown away by the day. He actually went to school with my bro in law and we have become buddies because of the Rog. Always making new Rog friends.

Anyway, he works in nyc and dragged me up last week. Hot chicks everywhere, subways suck. He put me before some young cool guys that were working with Duck Tape.

We used some duck tape last year to cover our trans plate inspection cover as mine was missing on my 39 trans, Ohv 32 roadster. Duck tape does the trick in a pinch!

The military had duck tape invented as a strong durable water proof tape during WW2. It proved it self through war times as it shed water. Like water rolling off a ducks ass!

It keeps sand out too! And it's strong as shit!

Duck tape eventually turns into duct tape after the war as it is also has a good use for sealing up sheet metal seams as well.

So good ole World War II Duck tape decided they would simul cast the race for you folks at home that can't get to this years Trog!

Now my new buddy knew me well enough to tell an interested high dollar company that I was a modest man with a modest race. It's an organic non commercialized race between gentlemen down for the building of cars before the glory. They understood exactly and didn't force me into wearing a duck suit! Pretty sweet.

So if you can't make it from Europe, or Alaska this year for the 2nd annual Trog. Why I'm not sure? You can catch some live streaming from our website theraceofgentlemen.com

No streaking this year! Well maybe just a little.

  3. Our Inland Emperors pal was just surpassed as our furthest attending racer in little ole Spokane Washington.

There is a new nut job that just squeaked in on his 1938 BMW. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1378809094.372339.jpg

It's is starting to feel a little more like war time. Coming all the way from So Cal. He said by bus, has to be a short bus. Seems a little crazy.

  10. I never saw that video till today. So nuts as I didn't know anyone was beach racing. Cool.

But the best part is that I built one of the cars, much to my surprise. So cool!

Be great if you could do a mass run for your event. Group them all at the finish line area as they roll in in the AM, then send em en mass to the starting grid area. The crowd would go nuts!!!

Think of the joyous noise there would be.............

  15. Crazy people, we were to promote our race on sat in Seaside with a couple of runs in hot rods and vintage bikes on the beach. I was going to tell anyone to come down and hang. But look at this, nuts!!!

Poor Nj, and these already beaten beach towns and community. These people have to be devastated. Fug!!!

  22. So far, we are still running if you are local and want to stop by. All day Saturday at the North End of boardwalk.

South end was in trouble last night and was moving North. They stripped the new boardwalk like a tree clearing in the woods to hold fire back.

Those poor people who just got their business going after Sandy then now this, ugghhhh.

I hadn't been there in years but have great memories of cruising the strip before they shut it down and cruising even after, and trying to stay out of trouble:)

If you can still make runs promoting this Sat, what time you think. I can make it down later in the afternoon.

  28. Go read the comments on those Jersey websites. Lots of discussion on the fires. real coincidence that that section escaped the storm damage and did not get the fancy rebuild other sections did. Coupled with a slow tourist season.........................makes one think.

Good luck guys. Can you repost the streaming link?

Tman, I wouldn't speculate on that.. Sandy was an incredible event to live thru... Would really be shocking that they would set the fire on purpose. $0.02
