Well, we finally got the Roadster moving under it's own power. As most of you know this is a great day! Still lots to do (minor things like headlights) and some carb gremlins to eradicate but very pleased for the most part. Thanks for looking,Bob
That's a great looking car. Congrats. Went for first ride in my pickup 3 weeks ago. Nothin like it is there?
Awesome!! You confirmed my wanting a roadster. And you drilled the look man. Great job. Hack Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Nice roadster. Do you have any detail shots of that back bumper? What is it? What did you use? Great looking car!!!!!!!!!!
I made the bumper out of a piece of thick walled stainless tubing. It is actually reputed to be a coffin roller out of the bed of a hearse.I got the ends somewhere online, i think form a commercial handrail place, and carfully tig welded them on and dressed the welds.I could post a close up if it helps.Bob
Xx2 on the fenders. Some think that you have to remove the fenders to make a hot rod..............................NOT!!! Frank
Well i like them both ways but there is a Salmon colored 30/31 roadster in the Andy Southard book "Hot Rods of the 50's" that really appealed to me .That car was the inspiration for this build. Bob
