Looking good too! Black and gold looks great together...the car is still in the body shop. Mocking up the front fenders and the tires are rubbing. Need to either raise it up a few inches and or get new front wheels. Looks like the wheels can come in about 1.5". Need to call the wheelsmith. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Having problems with the new painter. Here is a pic from a few weeks ago. All the fenders are done but only the rears are on. Hope to have it all buttoned up by thanksgiving. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Man, great job, looks like you've been through a lot. Having my buddy come pick up mine so we can start on it. Already found some great skirts and a visor. Here a pic of the day I got it and the hopefully end result in about a year. Cant wait to see yours all done. Awesome color choice too. 41_ford_3 by 41forMark posted Oct 19, 2014 at 8:57 PM

Thanks guys! Working out some bugs..brakes are grabbing with a leak at the banjo bolt on one of the calipers. Need to fix, flush and bleed the system. Picked up a nice set of 41 plates and frames... they will be on soon. Interior is scheduled for January- February. Bumper guards are being chromed and also waiting to install the fender molding. Any ideas on interior? Dash and garnish are cream...off white. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
It has been a great couple of weeks...driving her has been fun. Working out a couple of hiccups do to sitting so long. Some pics from around town.
nice car...great stance too......you sure had trouble with paint. why did you paint the garnish moldings white...?
Thanks! the garnish is an off white but it looks white white in the photos. Originally I had the garnish chromed and the dash was brown but that changed and sold the garnish with the original body. I'm just happy to have the car where its at now after dealing with paint. Working on getting rear skirts fitted, painted and lowering the suspension another inch or 2. One fender left to do but it is raining today so hope to get it done tomorrow.
Lowered another 1" front and rear...Packard wheel covers...fender trim. Looking into rear skirt rubber as mine did not come with them. Need to match the paint and install them but till then I have these covers and some 50's Old's to mess around with.
3 of the 6 covers were good and the other 3 were beat so I sanded and buffed only 1 to get 4 good covers...
Running hot in traffic and at long stop lights...water pump backing plate was leaking...so I replaced the water pump and thermostat since the car sat for soooo long and I'm still heating up at long lights but running great on the road. . So I'm going to give this shroud I fabbed up a go and see if it helps....the hole is cut for the 16" mechanical fan motor side. Removed the black paint the radiator guys painted it and turned by air tool with a fine 2" 3m pad....not bad for an hours work
The shroud helped but i believe i need to jet and adjust the carb and also reset the timing. Hopefully all that helps and if not then a new 16" electric fan instead of the 14" I have now and hooked up to the t stat. One thing that is working...I like the brass over the black paint on the radiator.
Thanks guys! Going to go for a drive down to the beach with my wife and kid...rained all night so it's nice outside today...perfect for a little drive.
