Our first trial this year was with a magneto with built in advance. Lazy launch, fixed advance with static 25 degrees, came to life New numbers coming your way Carl, as we ended up with 14-15 psi this time What boost are you aiming on? K .............................. Taildragger&fenderless
What compression do you have? You can get away with a little higher compression, since you say you're only running 6.6 lbs PSI. What cam/cam specs are you running. Regardless of what Joe and the 'experts' say, these engines still like a higher lift cam. Carl, she's looking good, my friend!
Goose you really need to cc the chambers to make sure of what you have and its easy to make em bigger if you have to, also remember to add to you figures what relief you have, I know offy's are off a lot on some heads....... Got the final touches on the lubricator today and I am happy with the outcome......
Really done a nice job there. Looking sounds good. The display you present for us is inspiring and very professional. I am also work on it. This will be helpful for me taking ideas. thanks everyone...

Hmmm, a guy said this to me; Damn Kjell you have way tooo much time on your hands!!! Touche' Kjell Thanx Tim It sure looks better than that rusty ol piece it used to be, even momma's happy..........
Great day at the track. Do you always run in the left lane? I'll run anywhere and anything............... Had a good run against an injected Chrysler, that was fun, always try to run Elwood as he will give me a head start, run some of the HAMB guys its more about seat time than anything................
Kool project! What's the coupling that you are using and where are you getting it? My FED is also direct coupled from trans to rear, but I've never had the cover off.
Very Cool video Carl This evenings entertainment K .............................. Taildragger&fenderless
Hey Timmer thank the girls for me, glad they got recognized for their efforts. Do you have a high res pic of that??? What's the coupling that you are using and where are you getting it? Try Brad at Fabcraft Metal Works 800-208-8242
Actually cropped from a much bigger picture, that's about as good as it gets. There may be more as my friend has yet to give me all the shots he took.
Well we ran the rail Sunday with the blower for the first time. We now know we need some better rear tires! Our best run of the day in the 1/8 mile was 7.46 seconds and 94.4MPH!! It ran flawlessly all day with no problems. Shifting is hard with the manual transmission, but with a little patience that too became easier. We had 3 runs of 7.47 then 7.46 and 7.51. Pretty consistent when it shifted ok. With some better rear slicks I think it will go even faster.
Carl it sounds completely different than it did. If we get some better tires on her it should launch a lot better. We tried taken off at a higher rpm, but it just spun the tires really bad. We are looking into getting some new slicks for her!
Once you go to a blown flathead - you'll never go back! Gets into your blood first, then your pocketbook.
Yes D. That sums it up perfect It's an addiction K .............................. Taildragger&fenderless
Carl I definately agree 100%. Hey goose what wheelbase is your car that thing is soooo badass !!!!! Chrome don't get ya home
