    Thanks again for the feedback!

Lately I've been doing a lot less spectacular, but still alot more time consuming stuff. I welded the window slot shut, and it made the door a lot more rigid.

I'm not yet quite sure what I'll do with the vent window, so I just made a smooth angle towards the windshield frame.

It will have just one bench seat, so I did a simple extension all the way around.

I've been back and forth about using a '42 Packard grille. I've think I've made up my mind to go with the stock grille though. What do you think?

Next up was the trunk hinges. I used the original hinges and mounts, but ended up modifying the mounts pretty heavily, and now they double as a support making the whole top much more rigid. Not my prettiest work, but its functional.

The weatherstrip-edge is not the most exciting part of a build either, but it has to be done.

Yeah, I'm planning to do a carson top.

I'm gonna run 600x16", and I've been searching for hollywood flippers for a while, but I'm thinking I'll use the stock hubcaps as well, they're just so damn cool. One of the hard things about kustomizing a Lincoln Zephyr is to find even cooler parts to replace the originals with, I guess!

Love the looks of this one! Here's a quick and dirty photoshop with the Packard grill. To me it will be very hard to beat the looks of the stock grill

Very Kool project and thank you for letting us watch the progress. I love Packard grills
but I think the stock would look better. the Packard grill looks too small for the front of
the Lincoln. Good luck with the future progress... Happy Trails, Mick

Every now and then a thread on the HAMB expands my idea of what is possible. This is one of those threads. Keep the Zephyr grille and hubcaps - they look great and that is what matters. (Change for the sake of change is never a good idea.)

I look forward to seeing your future posts!
