Well guys, I finally brought my dream car home. I picked up a super solid 36' Ford Club Cabriolet from Southern California originally. I am trying to decide on if I should go "Traditional Hot Rod" or "Traditional Custom". Here some pics of how she looks right now. Let me know what everyone thinks as far as which direction I should take.
Thanks man. I personally think the style of your ride is the direction that I am going to go as the black one looks kinda stock for me.
That car looked like a great deal for somebody wanting one. I couldn't believe it was for sale as long as it was. Congratulations on acquiring it. Are you in the PNW where it was advertised for sale?
First direction I would take is to the doctors office for a tetanus shot before you sit on those seat springs! Lol just kidding! Man that is a sweet car!!! I have always loved those ford cabrios. Maybe one day I will own a F*rd... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I live in Penticton BC, Canada. The guy managed to get me the title for it as well. I traded my 1955 Cadillac 62 2dr HT for it straight up.
Nice trade. As low of a production run as the club cabs were it is surprising how many have survived. Please don't chop it. There are several done with chopped tops and in my opinion the proportions of the long chopped top don't look attractive.
I have to agree with you on not looking right when the club cabriolets are chopped! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
