it looks bigger w/ the porch all the way around the house ....

now it looks like a cottage for some reason ...

 

Great story. I grew up about 6 blocks from where the house was built. House was gone by the time I got old enough to "explore" the area on my bike in the 50's.

 

It's about a quarter mile away from my place....

 

Sort of amazing how much of old Dearborn survived into more modern times, and then suddenly it was gone.
