I thought this tread was about the Swindler poker run? Now that you've gone off course the weather has been down-graded to 65* and cloudy with a shower. I'm still driving my roadster though. Keep it up and it will be snowing....

 

List of places in the town town of Edison to eat when we stop for lunch.

1. Edison Tavern/bar grill
2. Longhorn bar and grill
3. Edison cafe
4. Slough food.

Both bars have been notified that we are rolling through. The cafe is a really good eat. Can look these places up online if a like.

 

Not sure bout the antique shop parking lot. But there is a firehall at the end of town with parking on the side. Fit a couple trailers there

 

A couple roadsters will be making the trek over from the dry side...unless it's a downpour! Best thing you can do in a hot rod in the PNW

 

Just a little over a week away. We're all geared up and ready to party...

Are you still requiring the same strict dress code? Or will there be a proper attire announcement forthcoming? I've hated wearing those stupid fuzzy slippers.

I'm gonna wear only sweatpants with no underwear, and pop a couple of viagras to boot! That way I can give everyone a HARD TIME...

 

Ha ha ha. That will come handy when you are pointing everyone in the right direction.

 

Looking forward to it. Been trying to get everyone I know with an appropriate vehicle to attend.

What the hell, Burns/Hudson comedy show take Sundays off? When you leaving burns?

 

Will there be any Canadians there? Because you know how I feel about those guys. They take our stuff and don't give it back.

I will be there for sure and promise I won't back into any 32 Fords with my 1936 like last year!!!
Luckly no damage to either vehicles but it was enough to damage my ego for a lifetime!!! I'll be taking the "Best damned pictures of Billetproof 2013"!! Last year was my first "World famous Swindlers poker run" and I will never be the same. Those Swindlers are about the most bad ass group of Hoodlums that I have ever encountered!!! Beware, if you come to this event, you will never see things the same or be the same. It's your choice. !!!!!!!!

 

Steve, I wouldn't call it life changing but it's a damn fun time with a bunch of great people.

 

Hank had a blast at last year's SWINDLER'S POKER RUN. He drove while I rode shotgun.
He was sniffin that tire, but decided to find an import to pee on. Going to leave him and the six wheeler home this year, and I'll drive the Army truck. Be looking to see ya all on Saturday in Conway.

 

Doug, don't forget to put fresh batteries in your life alert bracelet. I remember last time you saw me you said your heart skipped a couple beats

 

Chris - Doug had his heart removed years ago. That's why he's so STONE COLD...

 

He might wann consider new batteries in his alarm clock and a reminder to stop for gas too.

 

That's it, I'm not coming,this would have been my twelfth year. But I can't take this abuse........
It's time to start building remote control airplanes anyway, hang out with the Boeing Club. No driving necessary, it's right up the road. A guy could spend a lot of money on one of those and have a real cool plane.....that they could then WATCH fly.
I'd better come because it's the best fun I'll have this whole year, IN a car I built myself. With that in mind, if you come, you should give it a wide berth.

 

If you decide not to come, I'd gladly drive your car and tell you all about it when I get back!! Thanks in advance!!!
