1. It's a coupe , not a roadster 2. It's not worth $500 (unless I am really out of touch with reality) 3. He is not your buddy 4. Politely say no thank you and then go find another car and another buddy 5. Don't loan any more money to buddies, if the bank does't think he will pay them back why should you? 6. Doors are hard to find for that body. The 28-29 A trucks shared the same doors, hence why I think most T bodies are missing theirs. They do make new but are around $1300.00 each. Like everyone said, walk away from that one. Maybe get the decklid because I know there are guys looking for those.
It can and will nickel and dime you to death....window garniches...EXPENSIVE...Good Doors....EXPENSIVE...Windshield Frame....EXPENSIVE...I would say thanks but NO THANkS and hound him for the money he owes you...Hopefully he didn't spend it buying this !!!!
I went to look at it today and I did run. That thing needs everything. And it has bullet holes all over it.

He probably did use the money for this. When he told me about the car he said it just needed the doors. Boy was he lying.
Can you please stop answering everyone individually!?!? Just say "thanks guys"...then say what you need to say in one post! When you do it individually it really drags a thread out and makes it confusing to read. I'd like to see the pics of this body too if you can post some.
