An Elva Courier. I had a white one while I was in college. Great autocrosser. All fiberglass body and MG engine. Mine had a 1522 cc MGA engine.

Hopecrest on Bunker Hill, Los Angeles. An earlier post on this thread showed old houses being moved from Bunker Hill, which was pretty much redeveloped in the early '60s, I remember that there were huge swaths of bare land where houses had either been moved or destroyed, and many new buildings being built.

Yeah, but still.....who is she as related to this site? My search only turned up photos but it sounds like a lot of people know her.

Bill Davis Motor car Co. Desoto Plymouth dealership was located at 8425 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills. The building is still standing and is still an Automobile dealership selling Porsche now

 

I think after a pic of her was posted here somebody else identified her, and it become somewhat of an ongoing reference to her. Nothing much more than that, far as I know. Appears to be on its way to becoming an urban legend
