I snapped these pics at a "I buy cars, running or not" yard on the western most edge of Chickasha, OK.

gotta wonder how the hell a late 1950s ROLLS ROYCE!!! got to this condition!!!

this '63 Valiant Signet ragtop looked pretty decent body-wise but got no clue as to the floor condition. it's a /6. hell, the small bolt pattern Cragars oughta be worth a buck or two to a Dart/Valiant guy.

I would be interested in knowing where this is and if any of the cars are for sale. Have more pics?

There was a place called Jake's Antiques, located in Chepachet RI, the next town from where I live now. I had been diving by this place for 30 or more years, and everyone I know would stop and try to buy the vehicles in back of the place. Old Jake would never sell any.:(

Well Jake died, and the place shut down about 10 years ago. I stopped by and took a walk around the place after it had closed down, and snapped a bunch of pics,....and 2 weeks later, the cars were gone. The building, full of antiques, still sits there,...probably in probate court, or something. I always wondered if any cars were "inside" the place.

I know I have posted this one here before, but just made the deal to save this one yesterday. Need to inventory what is there and start hunting for parts.

I'm sure the moist dirt floors were not kind to the floors of these cars.
A shame but nowhere near as bad as to what happened to all the Lambrecht cars.

Kindly forgive me if these should not be posted - they're from a current Craigslist ad for a junkyard in Illinois:

  20. That's a 50/51 Dodge Diplomat Hardtop. They aren't terribly valuable, but they are rarely seen.

Yes it is! I may have to knock on the door to see if they ever plan to do anything with it.

This wasn't in bad shape until they pushed it into the pile with the loader and crushed the p***enger side in.
