    oh yes sorry it's just come back to the top of the list in prewarcar ,, i have a box for the Jappic,,

    interesting Jappic news,,,,,,,,,,,,,


    i was contacted recently by a GUy who had a pile of parts from an aborted Jappic project started about 20 years ,, he has done a lot of research into the project but now i'm building mine he has decided to not continue ,, so hopefully i am meeting him soon to join all our research together and write a history of the car and personalities

    he also is a director of a casting company and is going to help me get the lugs and other parts cast for the front axle ,,

    Lugs? As in ends to be pressed into a tubular member to form the front axle?Which in "turn"provide the pivot point for the spindles?

    one picture is a close up of the Jappic front axle the other is from a 1919 chater lea catalogue ,, they look like the same part ,, so this is what we are going to make I hope

    Too bad those companies no longer exist.I liked the fact that there were manufactures making cars as well as offering parts to the individual builder!
