All these intakes are great.....especially the ones currently on a car....being USED and ABUSED......haha
My friend was at carlisle and sent me a pic of this Evans 4x2 intake, the famed elephant intake, i had to have it so i had her pic it up for me. I had this pic Of Earl Evans standing over the intake for a long time and i had an 8ba on the stand so i figured id have a little fun and do my best impersonation of him! lol
I picked this one up from a friend of mine. Every piece of this thing has been chromed. The linkage, fuel lines, intake, carbs, etc. I thought it was just too unique to pass up. -Mitch
7 pages and not a single FE Ford....Going to have to change that. A couple from the interwebs... And an MEL just to confuse the masses. Everyone likes a 2x4 GMC right?
Where do I buy these scoops? I know they are made in Australia but who do I order them from? I need three thanks
Here are some pics of the engine that I have on display in the "Driven to Dream" exhibit currently at the "Haggin" Museum in Stockton, Ca. It has a hand built 6x2 setup built by John Eracaldi (Stockton, Ca) in 1962. With this engine in his '41 Willys truck Bob Panella beat Dale Emery in the final to win the 3rd annual "Pacific Coast Fuel & Gas Championship" at Kingdon in 1963....
