    re Citroen - to split hairs but for correctness sake: quoting from Aussiefrogs, my other favourite site and where one authoritative elder recently put it (who lives in the street-rod capital of Australia, too; "DS means higher specification. ID means lower specification. The DS designation carried right through the model run. The ID designation was changed to DSpecial and DSuper."
    and while I couldn't tell you what spec it is, i reckon it's not the '21 era dash, more likely the first iteration.
    like one of these, maybe;

    Not to disagree but... the Dirt Champ cars should have NEVER been segregated into their own division. I would love to see the Penske/Ganassi/Pat Patrick...ad infinitum bunch field a dirt champ and also see the current cast of South American drivers, (as good as they are at driving and tuning winged full independent cars on pavement), try to figure out a dirt champ on a horse track. The old "Championship Trail" was unique, and exhibited in my opinion the best in the world.

    Hi all- noob here. I was pointed here because of the Citroen dash shot. Y'all have it- it's a DS21. Model year is either '66 or '67. The giveaway is the cone shaped lamp, which is a charge indicator.

    Yah- I know too much about these. :D

    edit: Fnqvmuch might be right- now that I think about it, this dash first saw service in '62 on the DS. The ID was a completely different style.

    This page keeps me honest: http://www.nuancierds.fr/DT tableaux DS.htm

    Yes, it's a genuine Chicago parking meter lamp - it was a gift from my mom and dad back in 1973 (it came from Sears; they gave me the choice of this or a Lava Lamp). Timer still works fine! Only difference is the knob.

    Jim, I would right from the starting line , a good many of the shots have been quite helpful , ( I'm in the exhibit business ) and educational as well. My extreme thanks to everyone who has made a contribution here .

    Wow! A truckload of Yenko's I count 7. I almost bought a Yenko Deuce in 1970 when I got home from Viet Nam, I had $2400. and the car cost $4200. I was not bright enough to take out a loan. I bought a used 68 Corvette roadster big block auto w/air 2 tops sold it a year later for 3 grand to put a down payment on my first house that cost $33,000 certainly learned to sign for a loan then.
