Technical 6 volt starter

Does anyone know what will happen if I reverse the polarity on my '54 Chrysler hemi's starter and use it with a negative ground ??

 

Starters don't care and will work either way. You will have to replace your voltage regulator and re-polarize your generator. Hope this helps.

Yes, it will work just as well as it did before.

 

The only thing that will happen is that your starter will turn over faster.
