2013 SEMA....Who's Going?

We're coming in on Monday, so not sure if we can make the meet and greet. But if I see Denise around the show I'll stop and say Hello.

 

I'll be there get in later on Tuesday so will miss the meet and greet. Fly in from Brisbane Australia. My first time to the show will be great to meet a few of u guys.
Driving back (not to Australia haha) to LA via San Francisco and down the coast. Can't wait will be a great trip

I'm there Sunday to Thursday. 6 PM Monday night, LVH bar --Ok, I'll try to make that.

Our group usually has dinners with customers and suppliers. :| Not free much during the trip., but if I can make it I'll be there.

I will be there in the Hypertherm Booth in the main hall demonstrating live how to use our Plasma Cutters to all of the car guys and gals-Stop by and see us!

 

Our posse is coming in Tuesday morning, it is gonna be FUN!!!

Same here but I told my boss how important seeing my HAMB pals mean to me so we didn't plan anything with clients for Monday evening. I've got a very cool boss. YEAH!

Hi Denise. Sounds like it's gonna be a fun and busy week for you and everyone else. Congrats on the new job.....sounds cool. Just got home from 3 days in Vegas with two other couples....went to the Jimmy Buffet concert while there.
Seemed to be some good local bands at Margaritaville bar attached to the Flamingo, and at House of Blues....at least on the weekend. Will await reports on the SEMA show and related doings. Bob

 

Congrats! I'll be there and just across the street at the Riv. 11 years and counting. Feet hurt just thinking about it. Coming in on Saturday and will be there all week. Missed the last meet and greet have to make this one! It will be great to finally some fellow hammers!

Im going,already said that in an earlier post,my question is about taking pictures?,can I take random photos,or do I have to ask permission,or any pictures allowed at all?first time there so not sure on the rules.some trade shows do not allow cameras in at all?Not looking to steal secrets,just want some photos for memories. I will be there leaving MN Sunday morning and getting back late wed night. Only get top spend Tuesday and Wednesday at the show. I have never been there. I hope I get to see it all!!!

 

Cameras are allowed.

 

I will be there Monday morning, commissioned to perform an appraisal inspection on a quite rare "Boss Program" Mustang in the LVCC parking lot.

If you have any energy left over after SEMA there is the Grand Finale IMCA modified races at the Las Vegas Dirt Track on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. 250 plus cars. Thursday alone is 20 heat races, 10 last chance races, and 2 main events. That makes for a long night!

 

The Orleans hotel/casino has "Snake & Mongoose" playing in their Cinema 18,I saw it last night to escape all the goblins,witches and little monsters. Tells a good story and is for the most part fairly accurate , some Hollywood . Some scenes were old footage, Linda Vaughn Jungle Pam, Garlits explosion at Lions , The jim Nicoles crash at Indy, Big Mac and Steve Evans. Missing was the nitro fumes but the sounds were there !

 

Nice weather for car shows and there are two, Goldstroms complex on Sat. 8-4, live band, food vendors , some very quality cars , and some strange creations, hows a big block powered Zamboni burn out . Cameron just south of Hacienda free to the public proceeds from show go to Parkinsons Research. So Cal Speed on west Desert Inn on Sunday ,open house , free BBQ and many cars 8-4pm.

 

I'll be there wed sounds like I'll missing out on all the fun.

I'll be there Tuesday & Wednesday, this is year two for me. Meeting some important people about business opportunities - i'm super stoked!

 

I'm still thrashing on the New Product display with the TechAFX guys & we leave tomorrow am!

I worked with them to develop a way to replace the old rubber hoses on rods with Carbs & Mechanical Fuel Pumps. In fact, they have included me on the Patent Apps!



TechAFX’s new brass TX Fittings (Pat Pend) & their black screw clamps with FLATwrap Hose (Teflon core) makes it look like you've running "old school" rubber hoses on your vintage rod.

The coolest part of this new FLATwrap Hose & TX Fittings, is that they go together just like the old stuff did! Cut the FLATwrap Hose, stick it on a TX Fitting, secure it with a black TX Band Clamp & GO!
