What part are you not getting? I didn't say anything about WHEN the show aired in relation to this thread. I said I have seen an episode with that car. And YES, I think that it's worth $50,000. Is that clear enough? Why did you delete what you wrote?

 

just wanted to clarify, ...btw , I have a few cars for sale, they are not T buckets, so you may not be interested, but if you think the fast back is a 50K car then you will be getting a smoking deal on the ones I have for sale!

 

IMO, people who don't know how to use sarcasm, shouldn't use it. Now, if the cars you have for sale were built by a pro shop, with crate motors and custom frames, etc. like Rawlings cars, post them in the want ads. I'm sure someone would be interested. I mean, your cars are built to the same standards as Rawlings shop. Right? Post some of your work. I know some guys looking for a nice car.

..yeah,, your right,, i looked at a few of the most recent pics of stuff i had on my computer (not including the few vw's i built recently) and your right,,,these aren't PRO built like you prefer,,,just built in my lil two car garage....oh well maybe one day!

 

I didn't say I liked pro built, I said that's what Rawlings are. That's why he charges what he does. he has employees to pay and other expenses. I'm trying to make this as clear as possible. Are you STILL not getting it?

 

I also dont understand why some posters are busting on gas monkey....the first mention of what the car was selling for is an old link to an ad by the guy who owns it now/then.....Richard started this thread looking for it...I guess to buy it back? If the guy that owns it now wants 50k who gives a shit? If you dont like his cars or what others are for sale for ...how does that impact you? I personally like the show....makes me want to move to Texas to be honest....CA is not very car friendly....

 

Enjoy the show with hot rods in it and shut your pie hole before gas monkey crams it full.
