That is the old San Cobble drag strip it was part of the Bamberton Haul Road, used to transport limestone from the quarry in Cobble Hill to Bamberton on Saanich inlet. I live about 2 miles from this site and is still there just a little overgrown now.

We have lots of English cars here. Have been since the early fifties that I now of.
My dad always had an early fifties Austin for work transportation.
After all it is British Columbia! At least it was then.
