With that body style, go with panels... here's a rough version, food for thought.

Ok Marcus, This is where I ended up. Honestly, if I had a high-res photo, I could do a lot better, clean it up a lot more, but I hope I got a grasp of what you're looking for.

Well thats a drag you were the only parts pimp i knew that might be able to find stuff. whats lacking on the jimmy before it hits the road?

  16. All I need to do is mount the Moon tank and elec fuel pump and get a longer fan spacer or make a shroud of some kind and thats it really... shes all wired, hooked up and ready to run! I need a new hood, make a grill, rims and tires, exh, interior, paint etc etc...All I need is about $7000

  17. Anyone else want to try?

  18. Colors are different, but you get the idea. A mix of panels and flames could be real cool. Long scallops look really good on those cars as well.

PS- you see any of these hubcaps around let me know [IMG]

  19. 62 Buford always nails it perfectly! If the guy still wants flames...how about reversing them in the panels? You know...white flames that come into the blue/purple panels (but are connected to the white body color). I wish I could just do it myself...Buford...help? [IMG] [IMG]

  24. That's the general idea, 62Buford! someday, you should come to S.A. and show me some of that fancy photo-chop stuff! You'll want to poke your eyes out after spending a day trying to teach me some computer stuff, though. [IMG]

That looks like a cool project! I have only seen a few done as a custom and even less that actually look good - but you have the right idea.

I thought I'd share a pic of my '65 I had. I want to do another, a '66 with the blind quarters but with a '65 front clip.
