    Here you go Brendan... I don't think it's a Model A.

The piglet engine should be a model a to conform to the rules of the vscc , period ohv conversions are allowed ,
But it has been known for people to run model b engines as they have full pressure cranks but can be spotted by deeper timing covers and fuel pump boss on the crankcase which runs off the cam
Piglet has had a b in the past not sure if it's a of b at the moment

Ok so it may be an A or B motor, do you know what size the carbs are I am running twin 1 1/2 SUs on my A. the carbs look like 1 1/2 to me, however I need to have the main jets wound right out to get enough fuel.
    Regards

Hi Brendan no idea what he is running But there are 3 normal jet sizes for su 0.09 " 0.100" 0.125" plus special 0.250" for methanol each jet size has a huge range of needles which can be compared here http://www.mintylamb.co.uk/suneedle/

Well , after all these years of no jappics I start to build a recreation , now I hear of another being built in new Zealand ,
He has done the front and rear axles , which look fanstastic and is now starting on the chassis ,

Initialy I was a bit disappointed but he seems very nice and we have had a couple of chats via Facebook it's been very good to discuss details of the project with someone who understands , and as he is new Zealand the cars will properly never be parked next to each other in the paddock ,,,,

  26. Probably so, unless you bring your Jappic over here... ;) :D

Thanks for this great thread. I've spent the last 4 evenings going through the whole thing. Saw many new cars and a lot I've seen before. I'm building a reverse trike right now and Have a 27 Track T about 80% done. I drive a 2003 smart car that I sold my Mustang to buy. I love small and micro cars. The smart is the closest I could come for a daily driver. Wonderful pictures and great ideas.
