Helped a friend install latches, regulators and glass today, then hung the doors for the final time.

Here's mine. Bought it as a basket case chopped and channel back in '74. Hit the road in '84 after a lot of blood sweat and tears. ie: building a garage, moving, having a couple of kids, no money. Last used at my youngest son's wedding in Oct. 2010. Decided it was time to do it right as the old body work was terrible. New sub rails, floor pan, rear quarters, deck lid to start.

  5. Posted a five window I built in the 60's earlier in this Thread.
Here is a five window I purchased a few months ago. Known as the Coleman Coupe.
Been driving it most every day. It will be having a well deserved mechanical rebuild this winter. Last photo from the 60's.

    Please don't chop it.

  10. If you do, don't chop it that much. That throws off the proportions.

Gary: I think your proposed chop looks just right, not to much, not to little. Go for it.
