The Tasmanian Tiger (Thylacine) is a very sad and sorry story in Australia's history. Hunted to oblivion for a crime they did not even commit! They were believed to be attacking stock animals like sheep and cattle, they weren't. The attacks were from introduced dog species.

Good to see a selection of Cyclecars on the thread. The cyclecar was a significant development in the US, so much so that Henry Ford, seeing a potential threat to his sales, produced a basic Model T - The Roadster - which in 1915 was only $50 more than the price of the average cyclecar.
Around a hundred cyclecar manufacturers sprung up across America and publications such as The American Cycle Car, Light Car Age & Cyclecar Age appeared. More well known makes included Spacke, Trumbull, Merz, American Greyhound, Scripps Booth, Shaw, American Cameron, Mercury, O-We-Go, Sinclair Millitor, Twombly, Imp, Falcon, Crickett and so on. Some of these had good markets in Europe but by the early 1920s Ford had seen them all off.
In Europe, Britain had around three hundred manufacturers, France, thirty and Germany, a handful. In Britain it was the Austin Seven, introduced in 1922, that did for the cyclecar.
Present day in the UK, the cyclecar has a dedicated, but somewhat eccentric, group of enthusiasts!

Definitely not Jean Simmons, Jeanne Crain or Jean Peters. A professional model.
