And as recently as Oct 20.

Repeats are going to happen regardless. I laugh when seeing same posters repeating their own previously posted images though.

Sorry. Few to many pages for me to look through to see if it was already here. And any picture of a Stratocruiser is cool. Even if it's a repost. How about an old picture of my roadster. Taken from Car Craft in '58.

Rich, I'm thinking you need to write a book of your accomplishments. It would be a good read!

Waldo, did you see the plane crash scene being filmed? If so, did they use one plane for the flying scenes and another for the crash?[/QUOTE]

No I didn't see the plane crash being filmed, that would've been cool. There was a small airport not far from the scene we watched that could have been used for that scene. The scene we saw was on the front porch of a house, that was on old hwy 466 not far from the intersection with Fort Irwin Rd. And, the scene we watched had Tina in it!!!!

Edit: Having seen the still photos of the plane crash scene I'm sure it was filmed at what was then the Barstow airport.

It is my avatar. Separated by 55 years. Same car but evolved. It wasn't mine in '58. But I used to see it sometimes at Half Moon Bay. Car has been around.

Found this color photo back on page 6 and though it looked familiar. I happen to have an earlier version of it in a box of old photos I had.

Ok, nice try with the 'chopper from 1910'.
Behind the bike=curb is repeated, fence is repeated and neither line up in the area behind(inside) the front wheel. Besides that, not bad.

I tried to figure out what carrier this was by the deck numbers which are pretty hard to make out. Turns out it was CV 15 USS Randolph. This link has a few more pictures but I didn't post them as the pilot was killed along with three ships company.

No question it has been altered. If you two missed the bold post, also look at leaves/house shadow x2 and uneven house siding/foundation.

Suddenly, being given the bum's rush out the door to spend the weekend with the grandparents makes a lot more sense.......
