Hello fellow Falcon fans! I have a question, any idea if early mustang wiper arms would work on a 61' Falcon? Can't seem to find any replacements that are less than $70, but mustangs' are $10-20 a piece. I can cut them down and modify them no problem if they're too long but I just wondered if any of you guys have run into a similar problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  5. I bought arms and blades for our '60 Falcon from Colliers classics in signal hill Ca.
I can't recall exactly what price but they were good quality and reasonable price .

What lenses did you use? I am thinking of something similar, but would like to see a straight on shot. If you happen to have one.

JohnnyG, I used 60-61 lenses, they were the cheapest. I drilled 3 new mounting holes in the deepest part of the lenses. I can't get pictures to load.

I have been workin on my little peice of 60s history myself. It started as a fairly recent resto that was not really complete, or staight enough, and it was a crappy white paint job. I never even got to drive it. It showed up on a car hauler from down south last Feb. I threw it in the shop and started to get to work. It was missing tons of trim. All of the interior chrome was junk, the seats had been recovered, but not to my taste, and they were not secured correctly. The exterior stainless trim that I wanted to use, was nice, but the bumpers were junk. It gave me a good starting point to build what I wanted, given it was already a factory V8 with 5 lug wheels. It is 1963 1/2 Falcon Futura hardtop. I scrapped the 260 and 2 speed slushomatic, and built a fairly stock 1968 289 with a rebuilt C4 tranny with a Lokar nostagic floor shifter. It was supposed to be a quick sand and paint hot rod black, and swap the wheels and tranny. NOPE.....That didnt happen. LOL Here are a few shots of what Im doing. By the way, What a killer thread this is ! Have to resize the pics.

Thanx man. Yes. Old body guy. North of boston. The old girl is starting to shape up. It has been much much more work than I really wanted to get into. She was semi restored when I got her, but was no virgin to the affects of mother nature, and had been non professionally massaged. When Im done, it will be a great 3 season daily driver.

That's nice. Kinda makes me disappointed I won't get to do Bellflower tips on the Futura.
