7. If my old memory serves me right..The "Top Hat" was owned by Roscoe Tinsley...Longview Texas...but I have slept since those days
The DCB coupes owner Don Briethaupt comes to our geezer reunion in Dallas on occasion..Lives down around Houston now,but was living in Grand Prairie at the time of his racing career

INCORRECT - the GT40 was modelled after the Lola Mk 6 which competed at Le Mans in 1963. The Lola T70 Coupe did not appear until 1966 although a roadster Lola T70 competed in CanAm races in 1965

I have my old favorites and new<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
I did have, these were used cars, a 1949 Ford coup. 1951 Merc. 4 door,
this was a great drive-in car wide back seat.
1957 Olds 2dr HT.
But I ordered this one new from a dealer in 1968 before I knew what it was going to look like,
wish I still owned it now. One of my favorites, a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T,
with the classic copper with the black roof.
5 star Mag rims with very wide Goodyear tires. Could take Vets of the line every time….
But I would like to own a black or white Ford GT40

Thank You for the reply.
Since that photo was taken in 1957, I wonder what color of Red was used on the Coupe?

There are utubes of Fordson tractors with those same screw drives replacing the wheels. They turn by steering brakes. They go on top of the snow no matter how deep according to the videos.

My Pops & his brother dropping in an engine back in 1966. Check out the high tech swing/set engine hoist. He said the pipe started to bend half way through the job so they had to grab some 2x4's to support it.

This black and white photograph shows the Aero Spray King plane and the 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid tank from the Ong Aircraft Corporation in Manhattan, Kansas. 2,4-D, as it was commonly called, was a pesticide/herbicide used to control braodleaf weeds.

Can't remember the name of the t.v. movie, but I thought it was very good.
It was a few years back that I saw it on the tube
