RE:"Lady be Good".Was found in the Libyan desert by an oil survey crew.IIRC at least two of the crews remains were also located. As a bit of trivia on the find, some undamaged Thermos(R) bottles were found to have coffee in them. The coffee was heated and found to be as good as the day it was made. The guns that were not damaged were found to be operational.
    Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

Yep!----Probably "Nosed" too, & possibly running a McGurk 2 pot intake with split exhaust manifold with hole in the "block" so as not to shatter house windows, with 24 inch Porter mufflers! (steel packed).

No, my focus was on the sweet '41 Cadillac coupe parked at the curb on the left.

Yup it sure is. I used to work on the rip track just south east
of the depot. It still looks much the same.

Kind of unusual for the time period, beings it's a four door.

There were still horse drawn buggies making delivery's on the streets of NYC in the late 1950's, maybe even later than that.

The mountains in the background look kind of like Hawthorne Nevada to me.

yes , then I noticed it was a 4 door (front end parts car, for when we wreck coupes, converts, and 2 doors, Why God gave us 4 door cars)

I am like that; some exceptions,, ( dropped axles make me smile)

I think there is a grey Chrysler product sedan ahead of the Cadillac sedan that is parked in front of the Cameo. I see a Jeep wagon and I think there is a pink and black '55 Studebaker parked facing the building. I can't see the others clearly enough to tell what else is there.

Just got these two shots of my Uncle Mike's '57 Fairlane 500 aka The Brown Beast, taken in Paducah, KY in 1965. It was two-tone Silver Mocha (dark brown) and Buckskin Tan, thus the name. It originally ran a 292 Y-block with a three-two-barrel setup (sitting on the spare in the first photo) but that was replaced by a single-four-barrel 406 and four-on-the-floor that came from a wreck. Most of his racing was on the streets of Paducah, but the shoe-polish markings here were for a trip to Illinois to run B/Modified Production at the dragstrip in Brookport. He sold the car soon afterward when he went into the Air Force.
That's my uncle on the right and his friend Rick Lahndorff on the left.
