Just wondering why you make them as slugs to go into the tube ?
I mill tube ends at the required angle and then tig weld the bosses

The Ends are a HD version of my dirt modified and sprint car ends
I make over 300 dirt modified axle a year. I am set up for it so I can make a pile of ends and just cut the main tube to size and ship it out the door.

I ordered (2) of his axles, one 38" and one 50" king pin centers, both had only one end welded. At the time I was unsure about the final width in both applications. Another thing that worked out well, was the ability to slide 360 degree brackets on, and then install the other end. This sample is on a Bonneville car I am currently building.

    Hi BC

Great looking TIG stuff, have you ever seen the early Trackmaster - Redline flat track frames the had welds that look like yours

They get them Nickel plated with no polish and those welds just jump right out at you

Thanks for the pics and guys!!!

I am a huge flat track fan!!!!
I have seen some master pro frames.
They are Art work. I am very luck to live close to Kenny Coolbeth and from time to time hang out in his shop.
One year he had a frame that was cleared I think the builder blasted it with something very fine the color was very cool.

Anyone of those guys that can flick A XR sideways into the corner on a mile track has got my vote

That flat track,n stuff is the real deal !!!!

Was best of friends with Terry Dorsch #22 for 42 yrs, and he taught me a bunch on how to slide the turns out here on the fire roads

That sounds like it would look very cool....there are lots of ideas and techniques that carry over nicely between traditional bobber bikes and hot rods.

So why don't you post up a few more pics of some of your handiwork?:)
What you posted so far looks pretty excellent.

    BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just checked out your site....You do some REALLY nice work man!

    Ok,back on topic here.....

Who's got some pics of their long, old style traditional ladder bars...?
Gonna start fabrication on mine soon, and was curious to see what some of you guys are running.Im thinking I will run 1" square tube bars right up to (or very close to) the transmission crossmember.Basically I wanna steal Big John Mazmanian's Willys ladder bar setup.....

So who's got some pics of their ladder bars and their mounting points?
