Depends if his wife sees it.

  3. [IMG]My mother would have marched that right out of the kitchen. I can imagine how quickly the records would become unplayable. Aside from that, it looks like a stereo amp but only one skeaker showing. tsk tsk.

We can get throwback Dr. Pepper. It's great hot with a slice of lemon when you have a cold. Always had that when I was a kid.

    I like this too!

wish I could find that old school Dr. Pepper here in SoCal. Old School Coca Cola is easy to find but it's now called "Mexican Coca Cola".

How sad that you think anything that has been posted here is "porn.". SouthUrn made some great photo contributions to the thread that most of us have enjoyed.

  7. The Cone Johnson is one of the ferries running between Galveston island and Bolivar peninsula on the Texas gulf coast. As a youth I road this particular iteration many times as my folks were frugal and also good at free finding things to entertain our young minds.

Love this shot. Angled parking with meters. Cheesy Christmas decor. Small town 1950s personified. Thanks for the post!

Do I dare post this without any information? Alvarado St is in San Leandro, CA ‎
And the car rental photo is 1966 so it misses the cut off date by one year.

  15. Look at the faces! The lady on his right is obviously his wife. Same age.
The somewhat younger lady on his left is their daughter. Once again look
    at the FACES.
Don't think he will be in any trouble.

This photo is in L.A., circa 1958. Hollywood Fwy., IIRC. L.A. city FD, 2 Receiving Hospitals ambulances (one getting a jump from the tow truck?), and about 8 LAPD B&W's, 1958 Chevys and 1957 Fords. LAPD handled all fwys. inside city limits until 1969, when CHP assumed them. HTH

Looks to be the Albion caster and wheel plant in Albion Michigan. I worked for one of their industrial distributors and visited the plant in the mid to late seventies.
