Forddraggin, that coupe is awesome! I'm gathering fenders for mine in hopes that maybe, just maybe it might sit like yours! I love it!
Well the thread title does say All A v8 so your good. Just make sure to put a 3x2 set up and some finned valve covers on it before it leaves the shop and you can't go wrong.
Thanks Uncle Bob, it was your Roadster that was the inspiration for it, A right hand drive version of it at least. Cheers
Hers my chassis. Nevermind the adapter and 283. '39 x member, rear, front, trans. Picking up my bulletproofed Columbia from John in Temecula this weekend. anyone run '40-up pedals in an a chassis? Any linkage pics? Thanks. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Here is 29 I bought a couple of months ago, Elmitcheristo is hard at it getting it on the road. The "Doss Roadster" is in the background
I agree, Chuck. Perfect stance, the right wheels ('40s up front) . . . just needs a few degrees on the windshield. Nice enough that it deserves some glossy dark paint, like black, and a simple tan interior. But that's just MHO. Mike
This isn't mine, and isn't the best shot, but hiding behind his '32 project is an AV8 Sedan which belongs to HAMBer T&AFlathead (Tim); I like what I see of it and wish I was in a position to buy it.
I have just finished reading How to Build A traditional Ford Hot Rod.. by Mike Bishop and Vern tardel Again !!! It will be my build Bible. I am starting to collect parts for a build of my own... I just need to finish up a few other projects first... Dang ,,,,I want one now !!!
Just read all the way through this thread.. some unreal cars here! Heres a few of my '28 Roadster, A frame, currently a 24 stud flatty but will be running a '37 21 stud with aluminium heads and an edelbrock super dual, '39 mercury trans and a '48 mercury rear end. And one without the borrowed roof..
Here's a few pix of my mostly-completed `28. Lightly channeled, and traditionally inspired ... not period correct (there are a few later-model components) but mostly built with pre-WW II parts. This little car "could have" been built in 1941:
Here is my 1930.. 37 flathead, 37 mcculloch supercharger, 37 trans and front end, 40 rear, 40 hydraulic brakes. I started out with steel wheels and then decided to switch to wires. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
