Ya, and then come back on here and tell us what happened to this project. I've been asking and waiting for close to a year now. How about someone else catching the crap for being interested. Tom S. in Tn.
Anything for an old buddy Todd! 73RR I looked at that link and found everything on Gene Adams except contacting him? You got a number or email? Tom S. I take it customer service wasn't strong point?
Siamese blocks not for the street, that's a old wives tale. If someone is having cooling issues, they have problems that need to be addressed other than the block design. TR
The new Hotrod mag has a nice section on 392's, they say that Gene will have the new blocks available early next year...
TRADITIONALLY....they aren't any good, dang nabbit......siamesed cylinders. Back in the day that's not how it was done...>
Heck, back in the day we didn't have internet or Victoria's Secret either, both are good things. Nothing wrong with improving things!
Damn...now I have to go buy it. Ok....just bought the issue. Pretty much what I expected. I cant say as they did me any favors. The author forgot to mention that even with 4 bolt caps, it is my (obsolete) girdle that eliminated the cap walk problem in the Gene Adams/HotHeads EMC entry. Oh well. They do mention my stepped balancer key. Next month they are doing transmission adapters. I can hardly wait.
I need a 392 block does anyone know if these are available yet or know what is happening cheers hammered30
I talked to Gene last week. They are still in the works. Some core shift issues needed to be taken care of.
The report that I got a couple months back said they were still working out the kinks. No new timeline... .
If these blocks become available in time my motor might be able to jump from 427 inches up around 480ish.....me likey! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
