  5. Welcome Back Southurn.....You were indeed missed. There are several guys on this thread who contribute to my ability to time travel. Many of the faithful would be missed. I'm grateful it was a 7 day suspension rather than banishment. I don't need to say anymore than that.....Let's get back to work.....Centurion9

... wow what a really nice photo. The world for Buicks n Cadillacs with this crowd and a photo without a ford or chevy in sight. Kinda refreshing :

If you look closely & research some pics, you will see that it IS a Lincoln. The 1930 Cord does look very similar, however, the Cord never had small lites on the fenders like that. Also the leading edge on the front fenders is shaped slightly differently on the Cord. The Roadster top is also different on the Cord. Here are some 32 Lincoln pics for comparison. http://www.kimballstock.com/results.asp?db=c&txtkeys1=1932+lincoln Note the lites on the fenders of all the Lincolns in the pics.

Great photos "on the road" by Charlie Beesley, found in Hemming's web pages:

Welcome back Southurn! Whatever you did- don't do it again.

  14. Yea!! Welcome back Southurn! My morning coffee already tastes better.
You had a fellow HAMBer cover your six while you were gone, XP300 did an admirable job of keeping things going in your absence.
Kind of like in church....I would get my head thumped, and have no idea why.....

It's the one-off 1930 Cord Hayes Coupe. Not to mention that the MkII was not considered a Lincoln bout a Continental MK II
