Technical Nice Y-block score on Craigslist

Got lucky last week searching thru craigslist. Scored a filthy but fixable 1957 'E' code Thunderbird dual carb intake and carbs for $100 bucks!!!!! They're are still good deals out there for sure! Carbs need some work but have all the right numbers on them. Rare piece for sure!

 

Damn you stole that thing. I paid $300 for mine which isn't to bad. Good score

You can buy a flat pan that will work fine. No need to buy a original

 

I actually might have a line on one.

 

I've gotten carb kits for the 'Teapots' from Afla carburetor in St. Louis some years back, but don't know if they are still in business. More recently I bought dual quad kits for the WCFB's on my Fury from Carbs Unlimited . com. They probably have a listing. If not, Thunderbird Headquarters in Concord, Ca. will have them available.
