I bought this 63 Fairlane a couple of months ago, real nice driver. Has later 302 C4 with working A/C 2.75 rear end great cruiser. Had a slight fender bender before I got it so the front end is in primer. Car was repainted 2005 Mustang Green 5 or 6 years ago and needs a redo. Going to stay with the green and do some silver flake, scallops, lace, pearl, etc... Then it gets new chrome steelies and narrow white walls. Should look awesome when done. My buddy that painted my T-Bird a couple of years ago is going to start on it in a week or so :D Here are the before shots, stay tuned for updates. Probably get rid of the ice too!

Yep, we know there is several places that have extra bondo. Plus some places that need a little.

at first I thought the ice was from Sunday, but then I noticed the coupe was still in the garage.

hope the project goes as smooth as ice

It appears that Fairlanes only come in green! Glad I am keeping mine green, don't want to break the rules:D

  18. Yeah something very weird with the wheel arch and i'm sure the rest of the body will have some surprises, how far are you planing to tear it down? i always tend to keep going until it a bare body shell. Then start from there if your going to do it do it right, even if it's a 4 dr Comet!

Yep both rear quarters have some bad previous work. Not taking it all apart. Working on it to make a real nice driver. I will post pics when done, it will be nice.

Wheels and tires are ready, looking for some good quality spider caps that won't break the bank.

I've seen a couple 64 wagons done as two doors,a lot of work as you need two,two door front doors and move the pillars back, then fabricate quarters and glass and interior structure. Some people weld up the rear doors, but it looks funny because the front doors look too short!! It is possible, just a lot of work! ROY.

I would rather have the 4 door personally and I like the looks of the new shoes by the way.
