  1. Could anyone give me more info on this pedal car? Maybe a few more pictures?

Look a little closer it looks like he placed "Parking brakes" (Stones) ahead of 3 wheels both rear and the right hand front.

The name puzzled me, the initial K suggesting a Breton connection. Apparently it was merely a fanciful phonetic rendering of the surname of the founding brothers Quervel.

Just how fast were cars like this? I'm sure the terror factor was over the top. Bob

Especially for the passenger, sitting above the axle. I hope there was a handhold.

    Now that is pretty neat!

A JD Harley, converted to full overhead, and (I think) twin carbs. Bet it goes like stink!! I'd like to see more, even if it is off topic.

I watched "Those Daring Young Men and their Jaunty jalopies" today on cable. Really dumb movie but the cars were interesting.

My first thought was that these will all be "made for movies" cars using all modern parts but I was quite surprised, in the opening minutes, to see an open hood and a banger with twin overhead cams!

I know some of them were made for the movie but some seem to have been actual vintage cars. Anybody have any info on theses cars?

    The Internet Movie Cars Database
(http://www.imcdb.org/movie.php?id=64688) has photographs and brief subpages for many of the cars, but a number of them are simply listed as 'unknown'...
